Store expansion of TOJIRO KNIFE GALLERY TOKYO！
We are pleased to announce the opening of a new concept store next to the TOJIRO KNIFE GALLERY TOKYO.
Since its opening in February 2023, our Tokyo store has been a new base to represent TOJIRO brand and convey the importance of knife maintenance.
We appreciate that many customers, particularly from overseas, have visited us and been interested on Japanese knife culture.
Through that experience, we wished to create a place where we could engage with each customer more personally in a relaxed atmosphere. This vision has led to the establishment of our new store.
We offer a great selection focused on mid- to high-end products, ensuring that customers can take their time to explore each knife and choose the best one. Our staff are committed to providing attentive, personalized service.
We hope this new store will serve as a place where you can experience the TOJIRO worldview on a deeper level.

Design Concept
The new store has been designed as “a new place to convey the TOJIRO worldview”.
It features a carefully curated selection of mid- to high-end products, including hand forged knives crafted by the exceptional skills of our artisans.
■Theme: “Industrial × Refined Japanese”
Incorporating traditional Japanese materials and craftsmanship, the design reflects TOJIRO’s roots in Niigata, evoking its nature and our factory.
■Exterior
Inspired by the moment in the knife-making process when blades are neatly aligned, the design reinterprets the traditional Japanese senbon-kōshi lattice. Louvers made from flat steel bars allow light to pass through, creating an impressive rhythmic pattern along the street.
■Interior
The flooring features Yasuda Kawara tiles, a traditional craftwork from the Yasuda region of Niigata. The plaster finish on the walls is used sand from Niigata as well, reflecting the local character and craftsmanship, where TOJIRO was born.
