Orthodox Japanese traditional style knives, forged by skilled craftworkers. You’ll be amazed by its distinctive Kurouchi hammered finish.
Blade is Shirogami carbon steel forged with soft iron, which maintains good sharpness and edge retention, but relatively easy to resharpen. Single bevel with Urasuki grind on back side.
Handle is Magnolia wood with excellent water resistance. Available in traditional D-shape for right-handed only.
※Hammered pattern and shades of Kurouchi are individually different due to handmade.
※Since carbon steel can rust, apply a bit of oil after use to prevent.
